Career Summary:
Florian Soyez completed a Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering with a specialisation in Aeronautics at the École Polytechnique de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2025. He is now a PhD researcher at ULB, in collaboration with the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics. His doctoral work focuses on evaluating the viability of plasma torches for industrial heating, particularly for high-temperature processes, as a potential alternative to natural gas.
