Career Summary:
Lounia Fossion is a PhD candidate in Energy Engineering at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), conducting her research in co-tutelle with the University of Mons (UMons). She holds a Master of Science in Electromechanical Engineering – Energy from the Bruface program (ULB–VUB), completed in 2025. Her doctoral work focuses on renewable energy and energy systems, including microgrids, with responsibilities such as developing simulation and optimization models, carrying out advanced research on renewable integration, and contributing to academic publications.
