Career Summary:
Muhammad Azam Hafeez holds a Dual Master’s degree in Energy Transition from the EIT InnoEnergy Master School, completed between the Silesian University of Technology (Poland) and Instituto Superior Técnico (Portugal) (2020–2022).
He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan, in 2014.
After five years of industrial experience, he joined the fully funded double-degree program in Energy Transition. His Master’s dissertation at the Institute of Thermal Technology, Politechnika Śląska, focused on CFD modelling of non-premixed oxyhydrogen combustion under steam dilution using ANSYS Fluent.
Since 2022, he has been a PhD researcher in the ATM Department at Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) under the supervision of Prof. Alessandro Parente, working on data-driven modelling of industrial furnaces to support the decarbonization of combustion-intensive manufacturing in hard-to-abate industries.
