Career Summary:
Jetnis Avdijaj is an electromechanical engineer with a specialisation in aeronautics, currently a PhD candidate and teaching assistant at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. As part of his academic duties, he supervises students on projects ranging from first-year coursework to master’s theses, and leads exercise sessions and laboratory work in key areas of electromechanical engineering, including thermodynamics, piston engines, and turbomachinery.
Main Research Focus:
Decarbonisation of industrial furnaces, with a particular emphasis on the electrification of high-temperature processes and the integration of sustainable technologies in energy-intensive industries.
