Career Summary:
Grégoire Corlùy began his PhD in April 2024 at the Université libre de Bruxelles in the Aero-Thermo-Mechanics Department. His research focuses on applying machine learning techniques to combustion problems, specifically manifold-informed feature extraction techniques within the framework of the LIFETIME project.
He holds a Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, obtained in 2022, where his Master’s thesis involved developing a hybrid model combining physical modelling and machine learning to predict the ageing of lithium-ion batteries.
In 2024, he earned a second Master’s degree in Statistics and Data Science from KU Leuven, where his thesis focused on implementing adversarial robustness in a generative model.
