Career Summary:
Chiara Novelli has been pursuing a PhD at ULB since 2023 within the Marie Curie project ENCODING. My research focuses on developing digital twins for combustion systems using data-driven machine learning techniques such as Gaussian Process Regression (GPR) and Neural Networks, combined with data from CFD simulations. She is a PhD student in Combustion at ULB as part of the ENCODING project and a visiting researcher at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). Chiara Novelli obtained her Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pisa in 2023, graduating with a score of 110/110. In 2019, she completed an internship at Acque Industriali, where she worked on the chemical treatment of industrial wastewater.
