Career Summary:
Adrien Oestreicher obtained his master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering at Ecole Polytechnique de Bruxelles (ULB-VUB) in Brussels in 2024, specialising in Renewable Transport and Automotive Engineering. He started my research with an internship and master’s thesis in collaboration with ULB and Aisin Europe, focusing on detection systems for Electric Road Systems. This experience in EV charging sparked his interest and led Adrien Oestreicher to pursue a PhD with the BRITE research group at ULB and Aisin Europe. Currently, he is working on controlling and optimising EV charging schedules using advanced machine learning and reinforcement learning techniques.
