Career Summary:

Patrick Hendrick holds a Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Aeronautics option) and a PhD in Engineering with a specialisation in Space Propulsion. He began his career as a Technical Officer in the Belgian Air Force, working on F-16 aircraft. He subsequently joined the Royal Military Academy of Belgium (RMA), first as an Assistant and later as an Assistant Professor. He then moved to the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), where he served as a Professor and was Head of the Aero-Thermo-Mechanics (ATM) Department from October 2014 to September 2024.
He is Chairman of the BERA Technical Group on Hydrogen & Fuel Cells (TG H2&FC), a member of Hydrogen Europe Research (HER), a panel member of the NATO STO Applied Vehicle Technology (AVT) Panel, a board member of JRI4Space in the Walloon Region, and co-founder of the C3E2D in Charleroi (Centre for Excellence in Energy Efficiency).
