ATM-06 is an equivalent test rig to ATM-01 in term of liquid flow rate but with warm jet oil being replaced by ambient temperature water. The purpose of this test bench is to test similar equipment than ATM-01 at a lower TRL (technology readiness level). Other advantages are material compatibility (jet oil can be strongly corrosive to some polymer), safety (burn and fumes) and economy (cost of electricity for heating the oil as well as the use of plastic instead of stainless steel for some components).
