Career Summary:
Vincenzo Romano is pursuing a PhD in Hypersonic Boundary Layer Transition, promoted by the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (VKI) and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), in collaboration with the University of Minnesota (UMN). His research is funded by a Belgian FRIA-F.N.R.S. fellowship. He obtained his Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli,” Italy, in July 2022. He then joined the Research Master at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, graduating in June 2023. In October 2023, he began his PhD in the field of Hypersonic Boundary Layer Transition.
