Career Summary:
Diana Martins is a PhD candidate at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), in collaboration with the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, funded by a FRIA–FNRS fellowship since 2023. Her research combines experimental investigations and numerical simulations to study the coupled aerothermochemistry and thermomechanical response of thermal protection materials. She obtained her Integrated Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Beira Interior, Portugal (2017–2022), followed by the Research Master program at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, Belgium (2022–2023).
